Software Developer (Banking Sector)

Job Summary:

Responsible for translating detailed technical designs into high-quality code and system configurations. The role includes developing, testing, and maintaining banking applications while providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement software solutions based on detailed design specifications
  • Configure and customize banking systems to meet business requirements
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts and architects
  • Ensure code quality, security compliance, and adherence to banking regulations
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practice improvements

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience in software development within the banking/financial services sector
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, .NET)
  • Strong understanding of system integration and secure coding practices
  • Knowledge of banking systems, processes, and compliance standards
