You will be trained to design glass products for building projects, calculate and evaluate the suitability of materials, and prepare the documentation that guides production.\n Key Responsibilities\n Design glass and fenestration products to meet project and client specifications\n Calculate and evaluate the suitability of glass, aluminium and other materials for each building project thickness, load, spans and performance requirements\n Prepare architectural drawings, sketches and detailed shop drawings in AutoCAD\n Take accurate site and project measurements and convert them into production-ready specifications\n Prepare production documentation, including cutting lists, material schedules and technical drawings\n Work closely with the sales, technical and production teams to ensure designs are accurate and can be manufactured\n Review drawings and documents for errors before release to production\n Keep organised records of designs, calculations and project documentation\n Undergo training on Rotex products, systems and standards\n Key Competences\n Knowledge of structural design in AutoCAD\n Experience creating architectural drawings and sketches\n Proficiency in taking measurements and carrying out technical calculations\n Strong attention to detail and accuracy\n Good communication and teamwork skills\n Ability to work with deadlines and manage multiple projects\n Requirements\n B.Sc./HND in Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related field\n Relevant experience in design, drafting or technical documentation fresh graduates with strong AutoCAD skills may be considered\n Willingness to work at the Shagamu factory\n Willingness to learn and be trained in glass product design\n Added Advantages\n Experience with aluminium, glass or fenestration products\n Knowledge of other design software e.g. Revit, SketchUp\n Professional registration or membership e.g. COREN,
