You will collaborate with backend engineers and product managers to build high-performance user interfaces that support our financial and trading operations.\nThis role is designed for an engineer who can deliver clean, functional code with moderate support. You will take ownership of frontend components, write well-tested code, and proactively contribute to the usability and reliability of our internal applications.\nWhat you’ll do\nImplement, maintain, and enhance internal/admin tooling and data-dense CRUD interfaces (tables, filters, pagination, forms) using React, TypeScript, and Vite.\nCollaborate with backend engineers and product stakeholders to translate requirements into responsive, high-performance UI components.\nWrite clean, maintainable code with unit and basic integration tests, participating in code reviews with guidance.\nProactively flag blockers, manage task queues with moderate oversight, and contribute to incident response for frontend systems.\nContinuously improve the usability and accessibility of our financial/trading administration tools.\nWhat you’ll bring\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.\n2+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and other modern frontend tools.\nDemonstrated experience building and maintaining data-dense internal or admin-facing applications.\nAbility to work effectively with moderate oversight, adapting to shifting priorities and demonstrating strong team collaboration.\nStrong desire to learn financial/trading domain concepts and apply them to interface design.\nGood communication skills, with an ability to document technical decisions and clarify requirements when needed.\nBenefits & Compensation:\nThis position has a base salary of $100,000-$125,000 per year. \nRothera is dedicated to advancing the careers and personal wellbeing of our team members.
