This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days a week onsite.\nSchedule: Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5 PM\nJob Summary:\nThe Accounts Payable Specialist processes all invoices and ensures prompt payments are made, in addition to performing clerical work and preparing special projects as needed.\nKey Accountabilities:\nTimely and accurate completion of weekly and monthly job responsibilities.\nEssential Duties:\nProcesses and codes all vendor invoices and check requests, matches approved purchase orders to vendor invoices, and ensures all check requests contain proper documentation.\nPrepares weekly check runs for payments to vendors.\nReviews general ledger accounts in preparation for month end.\nPrepares the Accounts Payable financials for each month by reviewing the check register, wire transactions, and deposits.\nUpdates the cash flow book as necessary.\nMakes deposits for incoming checks.\nPrepares data for monthly sales & use tax filing for Pennsylvania and New Jersey.\nReconciles outstanding checks and files unclaimed property reports with various states as required.\nOrganizes records for all purchases made on company credit cards.\nKeeps record of all existing leases and ensures items are properly billed.\nRequests bids from companies for pricing of goods and services.\nPerforms weekly filing of documentation.\nExemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.\nQualifications:\nHigh School diploma or GED minimum education requirement \nFive (5) years related experience required\nSales & Use Tax Filing, Unclaimed Property Filing experience preferred\nKnowledge of basic accounting principles required\nComputer skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel and Word required\nIntaact Accounting software experience preferred\nPay Range:\n$20.00/hr - $30.00/hr\nOur Commitment to Employees:\nCome work at Rothman Orthopaedics!
