This individual assumes responsibility for the MRI suite and patients entering the area.\nKey Accountabilities:\nProductivity of 12-16 exams over 8 hours in two tech team, financially qualified and properly verified/coded. Patients offered same-day scans when able.\nResponsibilities include (but are not limited to):\nGreets patient in the MRI waiting room and reviews the patient history form with the patient.\nConfirms authorization has been obtained and is in chart (if applicable)\nEstablishes that it is safe for the patient to enter the magnet room.\nPrepares and positions the patient for the appropriate scan.\nDetermines the need for contrast injection based on the criteria set forth by the radiologist.\nProceeds with the scan according to the protocols established by the radiologist.\nTransmits completed study via PACS to the radiologist.\nIdentifies that a \"WET READING\" is needed when necessary. Patients or physicians are provided a copy of the images on a CD.\nProvides a safe and comfortable environment for the patient and staff.\nMaintains order and cleanliness.\nEnsures that equipment is in working order. Reports all malfunctions to the appropriate service engineer and the Office Manager.\nParticipates in the training of new employees.\nExemplifies the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.\nQualifications:\nHigh School diploma or GED minimum education requirement\nSuccessful completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with continued studies in MRI required\nMRI registration licensure required\nMust have knowledge of x-ray procedures\nAbility to operate all equipment and machinery, including processors, required\nComputer skills including, but not limited to, MS Office Suite\nMust be capable of exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.\nLocation:\n2400 Maryland Rd, Willow Grove, PA 19090, USA\nMRI Hours:\nMonday, Tuesday, Thursday: 7:00AM - 6:00PM\nWednesday, Friday: 7:00AM - 3:00PM\nTotal Hours per Week:\nper diem\nPay Range:\n$33.00/hr - $50.00/hr\nOur Commitment to Employees:\nCome work at Rothman Orthopaedics!
