It is a 9 month contract position, based at our Porcari, Lucca site.\nReporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, this role is to ensure the continuous improvements of production tasks and processes during a transformational period of developments and efficiency gains within the Bath factory.\nIn the Manufacturing Engineer role you will design, implement and document shop floor processes, considering best engineering practice throughout. You will partake in audits, technical support and problem investigations/ resolutions with a view to suggest new processes and equipment where applicable and appropriate.\nThis role would suit a proactive candidate who is motivated in problem solving and driving solutions forwards. You must be a team player with the ability to work independently and have an analytical mind with an eye for detail.\nExperience Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a Technical Diploma.\nMinimum 5 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer, or Industrial Engineer within a manufacturing environment.\nHands-on experience in an engineering-led production environment manufacturing electromechanical products.\nPractical application of Lean Manufacturing principles, Continuous Improvement methodologies, and process improvement tools, with a proven ability to drive efficiency, quality, and productivity improvements.\nStrong knowledge and practical experience of Lean tools and problem-solving methodologies, including: 5S, 5 Whys, Ishikawa (Fishbone) Analysis, Gap Analysis, Timing Methods\nProficiency in data analysis, process performance measurement, and root cause analysis.\nExperience using CAD software, including AutoCAD, Solid Edge .\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).\nFluent Italian (advanced level) and professional English (minimum B2 level).\nThe Successful Candidate:\nIs approachable and able to communicate effectively\nHappy to work as part of a team as well as unsupervised\nOrganised with a keen eye for detail\n Additional Information\nOur purpose is Keeping the World Flowing for Future Generations.\nFor over sixty years, the world has relied on us to create the things that keep everything moving.
