Rotork helps customers around the world to improve efficiency, reduce emissions, minimise their environmental impact and assure safety.\n Purpose of the Job: \nTo be the driving force in implementing a zero-accident safety culture and continuous improvement.\nDrive a strong safety culture, regulatory compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement.\nTo maintain 3rd party accreditation to ISO45001\nTo fully satisfy customer requirements through the establishment of robust processes and procedures within the ISO45001 H&S management system.\nKey Responsibilities and Outcomes:\nDevelop and implement HSE strategy aligned with business objectives.\nLead safety culture transformation and behavioural safety programs.\nAct as the HSE subject matter expert for all India operations.\nProvide regular HSE performance updates to senior leadership\nResponsible for Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) compliance and performance across3 manufacturing sites in India.\nProvide HSE support and governance forfield service activities across India.\nEnsure compliance with all applicable Indian regulations, including:\nFactories Act\nState Factory Rules\nEnvironmental regulations\nFire and Safety requirements\nHazardous Waste Management Rules\nContractor Safety Regulations\nLiaise with government authorities and regulatory agencies. Lead internal and external compliance audits.\nRisk Management\nConduct site risk assessments and hazard identification programs.\nDrive implementation of risk mitigation actions.\nEnsure safe systems of work, permit-to-work, LOTO, confined space, working at height, and contractor safety programs are effective\nIncident Management\nLead investigation of incidents, near misses, and environmental events.\nConduct root cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are implemented.\nMonitor incident trends and establish preventive measures.\nEnvironmental & Sustainability Management\nEnsure environmental compliance and permit adherence.\nDrive waste reduction, energy conservation, and sustainability initiatives.\nMonitor environmental KPIs and compliance reporting.\nService Operations Safety\nDevelop and implement HSE requirements for service engineers operating across India.\nEnsure travel, customer-site, and field service risks are assessed and controlled.\nSupport customer audits and service-related safety requirements.\nTraining & Competency Development\nDevelop HSE training matrix for employees and contractors.\nDeliver leadership safety training and awareness programs.\nEnsure competency assessments and certification requirements are maintained.\nEmergency Preparedness\nEstablish and maintain emergency response plans for all sites.\nConduct emergency drills and business continuity exercises.\nCoordinate with local emergency services and authorities.\nManagement Systems\nMaintain and improve ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems (IMS).\nLead certification audits and continuous improvement initiatives.\nEnsure KPI tracking, reporting, and corrective action closure.\nContractor Management\nImplement contractor qualification and safety management programs.\nConduct contractor safety audits and performance reviews.\nEnsure compliance with company and legal HSE requirements\n Essential\nBachelor’s degree in engineering.\nNEBOSH Certificate in OH&S -
