This role will be responsible for performing engine or vehicle-based development and testing while coordinating with a diverse group of departments to ensure project success. The Development Engineer II will support design activities. The position is in Livonia, MI.\nAs a Development Engineer Il, you will:\nSupport multiple engineering and testing projects for a variety of customers\nCoordinate internal support activities in both professional and shop environment departments (CAD Services, Testing, Machine Shop, Engine Build, Fabrication, Garage Services)\nPerform engine and vehicle-based testing\nConduct frequent analysis of collected test data\nPrepare and deliver technical reports and presentations for status reviews and project sign-off\nManage inventory of engine/vehicle components and related test hardware\nSupport component and system design activities, as needed\nTo be considered as a Development Engineer Il, you will need:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering\nMinimum 2 years of development experience\nStrong hands-on mechanical background\nEffective communication skills, both written and verbal\nAbility to collaborate in a team environment\nAbility to troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently in a dynamic environment\nProficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)\nA successful candidate may also have:\n2 years of dynamometer testing and system integration experience\nAbility to troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently in a dynamic environment\nInternal Combustion Engine (ICE) dynamometer-based mapping or hardware development experience\nExperience with testing software tools such as AVL suite software (Indicom, PUMA, Concerto), ATI Vision, ETAS INCA\nData processing with MATLAB, Python, Concerto and automated script writing\nKnowledge of Computer Aided Design (CAD), instrumentation, data acquisition systems, data processing software and powertrain calibration tools\nIf you share our passion for providing innovative solutions to complex challenges, we want you on our team.\nPlease visit our careers page and apply by clicking on this link: https://jobs.roush.com/us/en/\nVisit our website: www.roush.com\nLike us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/RoushCareers\nRoush is an EO employer -
