With over 2,400 employees in facilities throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, and South America, our unique combination of creativity and tenacity activates big ideas on a global stage.\nJob Summary\nResponsible for identifying and mitigating workplace hazards through regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments. Recommends and implements safety controls, coordinates hazard removal, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards. Delivers training on safety programs and investigates incidents to identify root causes and corrective actions. Works independently on moderately complex projects and collaborates across teams to support a safe and compliant work environment. This position is 100% onsite in Livonia, MI.\nAs an EHS Specialist III, you will:\nLead regular building audits (minimum two per month) to identify hazards and ensure compliance with EHS standards.\nOversee and maintain Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and chemical management programs.\nCoordinate and design intermediate-level EHS training and communications (e.g., PPE, Emergency Response, Hazard Communication). Lead program safety reviews including the review of existing work and processes and job hazard analysis.\nLead EHS investigations and coordinate resources as needed. Investigate incidents and near-misses; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.\nDevelop documentation for SOPs and training content. Track and analyze EHS data and trends to support continuous improvement initiatives.\nComplete regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.\nSupport EHS program development and lifecycle management across multiple sites.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams on safety-related projects and initiatives.\nProvide guidance to EHS staff or Building Safety Representatives.\nOversee chemical hygiene plans, hazardous waste programs, and emergency preparedness.\nAssist EHS team with budgeting and program cost analysis.\nTo be considered as an EHS Specialist III, you must have:Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field OR minimum 6 years of relevant EHS experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.\nExperience with chemical safety, LOTO, and regulatory compliance programs\nStrong working knowledge of OSHA/MIOSHA, EPA, DOT, and other relevant regulations.\nAbility to conduct risk assessments and implement hazard controls.\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS data tracking systems.\nStrong communication and presentation skills;
