This role will also assist in evaluating departmental performance, setting goals, and driving improvements into existing operational processes. This position is in Livonia, MI.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nMonitor and evaluate program and departmental performance including productivity, quality, goal setting, and discipline\nLead the continuous improvement effort for the department (people, processes, tools, quality\nReview and assist in management of monthly financial business performance\nForecast and plan manpower requirements and participate in the hiring process\nAssist with setting strategic long- and short-term operational goals and evaluate outcomes\nMonitor and anticipate industry trends and advances in technology and equipment\nEnsure adherence to company and industry regulations\nEducation, Experience and Skills Required:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nMinimum of 4 years of program management experience\nAbility to provide robust solutions to complex operational problems and to drive results through impacting and influencing others\nAdvanced knowledge of program management concepts (scope management, workflow analyses, risk analyses, communication plans, timing plans, business cases, comprehensive financial analyses)\nStrong leadership, communication, and management skills, ability to work independently, and be customer, cost, quality, and delivery-focused\nWorking knowledge of manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures\nAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)\nFamiliarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems\nEducation, Experience and Skills Preferred:\nBachelor's degree in business or engineering\nMinimum of 6 years of formal or informal leadership experience\nExperience with production scheduling, inventory management, and demand forecasting\nExperience with configuration management and logic-based bills of material (BOMs)\nExperience with designing and launching end-to-end business processes\nKnowledge of engine components and assembly processes\nKnowledge of engineering and testing practices\nFamiliarity with workflow management tools (Jira, Monday.com, etc.)\nAbility to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and use them to drive operational improvements within the organization\nIf you share our passion for providing innovative solutions to complex challenges, we want you on our team.\nPlease visit our careers page and apply by clicking on this link: https://jobs.roush.com/us/en/\nVisit our website: www.roush.com\nLike us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/RoushCareers\nRoush is an EO employer -
