The role will build, modify, adjust and calibrate installed devices. This role will build and install\nlow voltage wire harnesses to drawings and schematics. The Instrumentation Technician II will perform\nindependent project tasks and collaborate with customers and team members.\nAs an Instrumentation Technician II, you will be responsible for:\nBuild and install low voltage automotive and instrumentation wiring harnesses, auxiliary batteryand electrical systems\n\nInstall, adjust and calibrate sensors, shunts, fiber optics, accelerometers, strain gages and dataacquisition systems\n\nCollaborate with Customers, Fabricators, and Mechanics to identify required locations for sensorinstallation according to Instrumentation Requirement List (IRL)\n\nPerform complete functional inspection and prove-out of instrumentation according toInstrumentation Quality Assurance (IQA)\n\nDiagnose faulty low voltage automotive and instrumentation wiring systems and repair\nWork with electronic functional and measurement tools, such as power supplies, functiongenerators, and multimeter\n\nMaintain records by entering notes into service repair requests\nKeep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshootingbreakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairs\n\nParticipate in daily shop organization and clean-up\nTo be considered as an Instrumentation Technician II, you will need:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nMinimum of 4 years of experience as an Instrumentation Technician\nExperience performing soldering, crimping, tube bending, component layout and packaging onvehicles or subsystems\n\n Able to follow procedures or work instructions provided for assigned projects, such as workrequests, shop procedures and shop manuals, publications or schematic diagrams\n\nGood organizational skills and works well independently and as part of a team\nGood communication and time management skills\nGood attention to detail\nA successful candidate may also have:\nCertificate in Automotive Technology or related\nNational Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification(s)\nState Mechanic Certification(s)\nValid driver’s license\nKnowledge of proper installation of thermocouples and pressure transducers\nAbility to work overtime as needed including weekends\nOur full-time benefits include: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, earned sick time, STD, LTD, 401K, tuition reimbursement, employee referral bonuses, paid vacation, paid holidays.\nVisit our website: www.roush.com\nLike us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/RoushCareers\nRoush is an EO employer -
