The role will interact with multiple customers and cross functional teams. The Program Manager will lead program teams(s) from quoting through completion of programs. This position is located in Allen Park, MI and supports the Powertrain Engineering group.\nResponsibilities for Program Manager - Powertrain Engineering:\nManage business aspects of multiple concurrent programs and ensure financial targets and timing are met while maintaining established quality standards.\nManage, lead, train, coach, and mentor program team(s) related to their job responsibilities. Plan, schedule, and oversee coordinator activities and monitor program(s) status.\nActively maintain customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and quality of service.\nManaging all activities associated with materials, budgeting, and production for assigned programs(s).\nAct as liaison with the customer and program staff to properly identify and process scope changes, address issues and communicate regarding program milestones.\nManaging program related correspondence and documents through designated document management systems.\nEnsuring adherence to Roush’s standards of quality, safety, and best practices along with customer specific requirements.\nDirect and manage coordination groups that assign goals for subcontractors.\nDevelop and execute large program plans. Manage day-to-day build operations supporting department management. Manage the execution of continuous quality improvement activities.\nCollect data from customers, suppliers, Bill of Material, and other resources to prepare presentations and reports. Review program(s) status daily and report percentage of completion.\n Minimum qualifications for Program Manager - Powertrain Engineering:Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering.\nMinimum of 4 years of managing projects and programs.\nMinimum of 2 years of formal or informal leadership experience.\nDemonstrated knowledge of program management tools and processes (change control, risk identification, phase gate).\nProven customer relationship skills including the ability to interpret customer requests and deliverables with a focus on cost, quality and delivery.\nPossess excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively host presentations and work with cross functional teams.\nExpert skills in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Project.
