At Roush, you are part of building the future.\nThe Prototype Project Coordinator II will work through issue resolution, status updates, and overall timing. The role will maintain budget, track expenditures, transactions and ensure project functions. The role will support project growth and development and corroborate deliverables. The Prototype Project Coordinator II will mentor and oversee team members’ deliverables to ensure Roush and customer standards are met. This position is located in Allen Park, MI and is intended for INTERNAL candidates at this time.\nResponsibilities:\nPlan, schedule, and coordinate office and shop activity and relay customer expectations.\nAssist the Project Manager in activities including timing, budgets, quality, and material management.\nDirect and coordinate assignments for subcontractors and monitor performance of vendors.\nDevelop and execute small project plans.\nComplete milestones on time and within budget, work with the cross-functional team to ensure deliverables.\nCollect data from customers, suppliers, Bill of Material, and other resources to compile reports.\nReview project status daily and report percentage of completion.\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\n Minimum requirements:High school diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum of 3 years of coordination experience or 3 years of skilled trade experience.\nExcellent customer service skills, very detail oriented, reliable attendance and ability to work overtime.\nGood written and verbal communication skills and ability to work with different cross functional teams.\nAbility to follow directions and multi-task.\nAbility to compile lessons learned for continuous quality development.\nIntermediate computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).\nPreferred skills:Associate degree in Business or related.\nExperience as an automotive instrumentation technician.\nExperience as an automotive instrumentation build planner.\nAbility to work overtime as needed including weekends.\nOur Full-Time benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, earned sick time, STD, LTD, 401K, tuition reimbursement, employee referral bonuses, paid vacation, and paid holidays.\nVisit our website: www.roush.com\nLike us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/RoushCareers\nRoush is an EO employer - Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories.
