The role will interact with multiple customers and cross functional teams. The Senior Program Manager will lead program teams(s) from quoting through completion of programs, ensuring financial goals are achieved. This position is located in Allen Park, MI.\nAs a Senior Program Manager, you will:\nManage, train, coach, and mentor a team(s) related to their job responsibilities.\nEnsure that timely and accurate reviews and routine reports are conducted on assigned program(s), using these tools to expose risks and elevate issues.\nEnsure program(s) launch on time and meet deliverables.\nMeet profitability and capital financial targets throughout program(s) life cycle.\nMonitor timing, quality, technical and financial risks, and issues on assigned program(s).\nDetermine post launch profitability as early as possible in development and report gaps to business case profitability.\nAct as a customer advocate when conferring with other departments and provide direction on program(s) requirements and priorities within the Roush organization.\nProvide leadership, guidance, coaching and technical support to team members.\nMitigate risks through risk analysis and quantification and resolving issues.\nElevate and focus management attention when there is not timely resolution.\n To be considered a Senior Program Manager, you will need:Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering.\nMinimum of 6 years’ program management experience.\nU.S. citizen under International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance.\nProven track record of program management processes (Project Scope Amendment (PSA), risk identification).\nWorking knowledge of program management tools (risk analyses, communication plans, timing plans, business cases, comprehensive financial analyses).\nStrong leadership and management skills, ability to solve complex problems, work independently, and be customer, cost, quality, and delivery focused.\nExcellent Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).\nExcellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.\nA successful candidate may also have:Minimum of 5 years of experience in a product developmentenvironment.\nMinimum of 2 years of formal or informal leadershipexperience.\nProgram Management Professionalcertification.\nOur full-time benefits include: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, earned sick time, STD, LTD, 401K, tuition reimbursement, employee referral bonuses, paid vacation, paid holidays.\nVisit our website: www.roush.com\nLike us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/RoushCareers\nRoush is an EO employer -
