Lagos\n\nEmployment Type: Full-time/Shift-based\n\nSummary\n\n We are looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Bookstore Assistant to join our team at our Oniru location.\n\n The ideal candidate should enjoy interacting with people, be comfortable working in a retail environment, and preferably have an interest in books and reading.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Welcome customers and assist them in finding books and other products.\n\n Attend to customer enquiries and provide helpful recommendations.\n\n Support day-to-day sales and bookstore operations.\n\n Arrange, shelve and properly display books.\n\n Ensure shelves and assigned areas are organised and presentable.\n\n Assist with stock checks and inventory-related activities.\n\n Support other store operations as required.\n\n Deliver excellent customer service at all times.\n\nRequirements\n\n Good communication and interpersonal skills.\n\n Strong customer-service orientation.\n\n Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.\n\n Organised, responsible, and willing to learn.\n\n An interest in books/reading is an advantage.\n\n Must be available to work weekends.\n\n Applicants must reside on Lagos Island or within close proximity to Victoria Island/Oniru.\n\n Candidates living considerably far from the Island may not be considered due to the shift requirements.\n\nWork Schedule:\n\n The successful candidate will work five days weekly, comprising:\r\n\n Saturday and Sunday\n\n Three weekdays\n\n Specific weekday shifts will be communicated based on the store
