opportunity to influence how global manufacturers adopt and sustain digital execution.\nResponsibilities\nDefine and implement Ignition SCADA systems; create and maintain clear documentation describing solution design and implementation\nPartner with customers and RoviSys functional analysts to define functional requirements using modern iterative approaches\nBreak down work into technical tasks consumable by our developers and configurators and oversee task completion\nTesting and on-site commissioning of control systems\nTravel to customer sites to perform requirement gathering, deployment, and post-deployment support\nWork in team environment with engineers and designers from RoviSys, partners and clients to provide state of the art Control Systems to improve efficiency, product quality, and profitability of process manufacturing\nApply modern software engineering practices (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing) to manage deployments\nProvide mentorship and leadership to less experienced engineers, fostering a culture of technical growth and innovation\nExplore and apply emerging technologies, including frontier agentic AI and LLM-based automation, to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability\nQualifications\n2+ years of configuration experience within Ignition platform\nAbility to work in the Eastern Time Zone\nDemonstrates the ability to perform technical responsibilities\nCommunicate effectively and professionally with both customers and colleagues to present new ideas, accomplish challenging goals, and solve problems\nThorough understanding of control system design and coding\nSelf-motivated, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working with people\nHands-on Ignition implementation experience including:Connectivity to shop floor data sources and historians\nIntegration with enterprise systems such as ERP and PLM\nT-SQL query and stored procedure development\nClient display and web report configuration\nModern web-based UI configuration and deployment\n\nAbility to integrate new software modules with existing systems\nDemonstrated adaptability and curiosity to explore emerging approaches such as AI, low-code/no-code integration, and iterative requirement definition\nDesired Qualifications:\nB.S. in Electrical, Chemical Engineering or Engineering Technology\nB.S. in Computer Science or Engineering\nWorking knowledge of common communication protocols and Ignition SCADA\nUnderstanding of batch or continuous process control\nNetwork design/administration\nPLC or DCS Integration\nHistorian Integration\nExperience working with any of the following applications is a plus:MQTT/OPC UA\nIgnition Edge Panel\nSQL\nSepasoft\n\nCompensation & Benefits
