Fullstack Developer

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning features end-to-end, solving backend and systems problems, working with APIs and third-party integrations, and experimenting with emerging AI infrastructure. You do not need to be an ML researcher. We care much more about strong software engineering fundamentals, backend thinking, product ownership, and your ability to quickly understand and build with new technologies.

Responsibilties:

• Build and own production features across the Rovor.ai platform.
• Design scalable backend services and APIs.
• Build our AI orchestration layer connecting models, context, tools, and agents.
• Develop and maintain MCP servers and tool integrations.
• Build connectors for platforms such as Google Drive, Gmail, Calendar, Slack, Jira, and other workplace tools.
• Work with OAuth, authentication, authorization, and permission-aware data access.
• Build systems for ingesting, retrieving, and managing company and user context.
• Work on LLM-powered workflows, RAG and agentic systems.
• Design reliable workflows where AI can safely execute actions through external tools.
• Handle asynchronous jobs, background processing, retries, failures, and external API limitations.
• Work on real-time and collaborative product experiences.
• Think through security, permissions, scalability, latency, and edge cases—not just the happy path.
• Work closely with the founding team on product and engineering decisions.
• Take features from idea → architecture → implementation → production.

Requirements:

• Should have 3+ years of software development experience with meaningful backend or full-stack ownership.
• Should be comfortable with building APIs, databases, and production backend systems.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web development, authentication, and authorization.
• Ability to design systems beyond basic CRUD applications.
• Debugging skills for difficult production problems.
• Ability to read documentation and integrate unfamiliar APIs.
• Should have Git and collaborative software development and independently take ownership of engineering problems.
