The Safety Systems & Analytics Manager is responsible for developing and continuously improving the systems, analytics, programs, and processes that enable a scalable, data-driven safety organization.\nThis role combines a strong understanding of safety programs, field processes, and risk management with systems thinking data analytics, process improvement, and emerging technology. The Manager translates safety and business needs into practical systems, standardized processes, dashboards, tools, and actionable insights that improve execution and decision-making across the organization.\nReporting to the Director, Safety Strategy & Operational Excellence, this role will build and enhance the infrastructure needed to scale safety programs, strengthen data quality and visibility, streamline processes, and leverage AI, automation, and digital tools to identify trends, improve efficiency, and enable proactive, data-driven decision-making.\nTravel: 10-15% with occasional travel to Rowan Office locations for team gatherings\nLocation: Denver, CO (3-day hybrid in-office role) (Remote options can be available for exceptional candidates)\nCompensation: $108k-125k (Offers Bonus)\nEssential Responsibilities\nSafety Systems & Digital Tools\nDevelop, implement, and continuously improve systems and digital tools supporting safety programs and field execution\n\nTranslate safety program requirements and business needs into practical workflows, forms, dashboards, reporting tools, and system solutions\n\nServe as a key functional resource for safety technology platforms and ensure tools support how safety work is performed in the field\n\nIdentify opportunities to connect and streamline safety systems, reducing duplicate data entry and administrative burden\n\nSupport implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement of new safety technologies and digital solutions\n\nPartner with internal stakeholders to ensure systems are scalable and aligned with broader business processes\n\nData Analytics & Decision Support\nDevelop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and reporting tools that provide meaningful visibility into safety performance and risk\n\nAnalyze data across incidents, observations, inspections, critical controls, corrective actions, contractor performance, and other safety programs\n\nIdentify trends, recurring exposures, emerging risks, and systemic improvement opportunities\n\nTranslate complex safety data into clear insights and recommendations for Safety, project, operational, and executive leadership\n\nDevelop leading indicators that help the organization understand not only what has happened, but where risk may be emerging and where action is needed\n\nImprove the accessibility and usability of safety information to enable timely, risk-based decision-making\n\nAI, Automation & Innovation\nIdentify practical opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence, automation, and emerging technologies to strengthen safety programs and decision-making\n\nUtilize AI-enabled tools to support trend analysis, pattern identification, data summarization, risk identification, and development of actionable insights\n\nDevelop tools and solutions that reduce repetitive administrative activities and allow safety professionals to spend more time focused on risk responsibly test, implement, and scale emerging technologies\n\nPromote innovation and continuous improvement in how the Safety organization uses technology and information\n\nSafety Program & Process Development\nSupport the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of scalable safety programs and processes\n\nApply a strong understanding of safety management practices to ensure programs, systems, and tools effectively support field execution\n\nTranslate strategic safety initiatives into repeatable workflows, processes, tools, templates, and performance measures\n\nMap current-state processes, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and develop improved future-state processes\n\nEstablish clear workflows, roles, handoffs, and accountability within safety processes\n\nDevelop tools and measures to evaluate program adoption, effectiveness, and outcomes\n\nHelp standardize safety processes across projects and operations while allowing appropriate flexibility based on risk and business needs\n\nData Quality & Performance Management\nEstablish and maintain consistent safety data definitions, reporting expectations, and data-quality standards\n\nIdentify gaps in data capture and develop solutions that improve completeness, accuracy, and consistency\n\nSupport development of portfolio-level safety performance measures and reporting\n\nPartner with Safety leadership to establish meaningful leading and lagging indicators aligned with strategic priorities\n\nImprove integration and visibility of data across multiple safety programs and platforms\n\nSupport recurring business reviews and leadership discussions with clear, reliable performance insights\n\nOperational Excellence & Continuous Improvement\nIdentify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and improve safety processes\n\nUse data, field feedback, lessons learned, and performance trends to drive continuous improvement\n\nPartner across Construction, Commissioning, Operations, and other business functions to integrate safety into broader organizational processes\n\nSupport implementation and change management associated with new programs, systems, dashboards, and processes\n\nMeasure the effectiveness of improvements and adjust approaches based on results\n\nHelp build scalable solutions that support organizational growth from construction through commissioning and operations\n\nCross-Functional Partnership\nPartner closely with Safety, Construction, Commissioning, Operations, IT, and other business functions to understand needs and develop effective solutions\n\nServe as a bridge between safety subject-matter expertise, business processes, data, and technology\n\nFacilitate discussions to define requirements, improve workflows, and solve operational challenges\n\nSupport Safety leadership with analysis, reporting, and tools needed to make informed strategic and operational decisions\n\nPromote consistent use and adoption of safety systems, processes, and analytical tools across the organization\n\nEducation, Skills, and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Construction Management, Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, or related field preferred\n\n5+ years of relevant experience in safety, safety systems, program development, analytics, process improvement, or a related discipline\n\nStrong understanding of safety programs, risk management, field safety processes, and how safety programs are practically implemented and executed\n\nExperience developing or improving safety programs, processes, systems, dashboards, or reporting tools\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights\n\nDemonstrated interest and capability in leveraging technology, AI, automation, and data visualization to solve business problems\n\nStrong systems thinking and continuous-improvement mindset\n\nAbility to communicate effectively with both field teams and leadership and translate operational needs into practical solutions\n\nStrong collaboration, organization, and project-management skills\n\nBilingual is highly desired\n\nPreferred Experience\nExperience in construction, data centers, mission-critical environments, industrial operations, or other complex safety environments is preferred\n\nExperience with tools such as Power BI, Smartsheet, Procore, Mitti (formerly SafetyCulture), Highwire, Airtable, or similar safety, analytics, and workflow platforms is beneficial\n\nFamiliarity with Serious Injury and Fatality (SIF) prevention, critical controls, contractor safety, incident
