Role Summary
Rowan Digital Infrastructure is looking for a Senior Manager to join our engineering team to lead and empower our data center electrical design team in support of projects across the Rowan portfolio. The Senior Manager is a critical part of the technical team that will help support all aspects of the Rowan approach from site origination through operations of data center infrastructure. The key focus for this role will include leading data center strategy, design, and deployment in support of Rowan critical capacity. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering data center projects as a licensed Professional Engineer. The successful candidate will also have excellent strategic thinking skills, organizational and communication skills, the ability to multitask, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Travel:
Ability to travel up to (25%) for company gatherings, factory witness testing, meetings, or to project sites.

Compensation: $170K - $210K (Offers Bonus)

Essential Responsibilities
The key focus for this role will include leading hyperscale turnkey data center strategy, design, and deployment. As the data center electrical design team lead, this professional will be responsible for leadership and growth of the team successfully delivering data center electrical infrastructure.
To facilitate jumpstarting internal and external teams, this professional will own data center electrical standardization on a company and client level. Ensuring Rowan designs meet client requirements while creating a repeatable and scalable solution which is considerate of the bandwidth of the design team.
Directly engages with hyperscale clients to facilitate documentation of technical requirements and communicating them to the Rowan design lead.
Technical SME engaged in commercial agreement negotiation for leases, service level agreements, and exhibits.
Lead internal and external teams to decisions and drive to outcomes.
Lead, direct, and manage consultants in the design, procurement, construction and implementation of data center infrastructure. Identify risks during all stages of the project lifecycle.
As a technical SME and strategy lead, mold design, project scope, schedule, and deliverables to meet client and Rowan requirements.
Partner with procurement to deliver the equipment required for the success of Rowan projects.
Support RFPs for electrical infrastructure design, construction, and operations. Review bids for conformance with the requirements of the RFP. Provide clarification on technical requirements.
Demonstrate a customers are our North star mentality. Earning, nurturing, and creating trust and relationships with utilities and client technical experts.
Mentor the engineering team to grow the teams collective expertise.
Support other technical tasks not listed as required.
Education, Skills, and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
10+ years’ overall experience with 5+ years’ of technical data center design and delivery experience.
Licensed Professional Engineer
Experience delivering complex electrical projects through design, construction, commissioning, and operation.
Experience working with external stakeholders including AHJ’s and utilities.
Experience communicating with senior leaders and executives at all levels of the organization.
Knowledge of data center industry and trends.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, and highly cross-functional environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience of proficiency in ETAP, MS Office Suite, AutoCAD, REVIT, GIS, and Bluebeam Revu.
