This is a high-horsepower, customer-facing seat for someone who can identify, develop, and close relationships with institutional investors.\nIn this role, you will work closely with Rowspace’s founders, engineers, and GTM team to prospect, cultivate, and secure meaningful relationships with senior decision-makers across some of the biggest finance firms in the world.\nMuch of your time will be spent on strategy and tactics, but execution will be just as important. You'll shape how we go to market, refine our positioning, and build the playbook for selling into some of the most sophisticated buyers in the world. You should be just as excited to jump on a customer call, build a financial model, or fill a gap the team hasn't hired for yet.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn the full business development cycle end to end - prospecting, qualification, discovery, negotiation, and close for institutional financial services firms.\n\nShape Rowspace's GTM strategy - market segmentation, competitive positioning, pricing, and packaging - working directly with the founders to define and iterate on our sales motion.\n\nDevelop and execute account strategies to break into and expand key customers, building deep relationships with senior decision-makers (CIOs, COOs, portfolio managers, partners).\n\nSynthesize signal across the business (customer feedback, pipeline data, product usage) into clear recommendations that influence both GTM execution and product roadmap.\n\nDrive cross-functional initiatives that don't have a natural owner - you're the person who makes sure important things don't fall through the cracks.\n\nHelp hire and build out the GTM team as we scale.\n\nWhat You Have\n2-4+ years of experience - you likely come from management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or a high-growth startup, and you've been the person others rely on to structure and solve hard problems.\n\nTrack record of building relationships with senior stakeholders in financial services or other complex, high-stakes enterprise environments.\n\nExceptional analytical horsepower - you can build a model, dissect a market, or restructure a pricing framework and make it look easy.\n\nHigh agency - you don't need to be told what to work on; you see what matters and go after it.
