You take on the design team we have in place today and continue to scale the charter. You do the design work yourself and you lead the team. We are hiring at principal level, with a path to grow into Head of Design over time.\nLogistics\nBased in our San Francisco office, in the office five days a week\n\nReports to our head of product\n\nWhat you will own\nAll of product design for the company, end to end\n\nThe current design team from day one, and scaling the charter from there\n\nKeeping Rox a design first product company as the company grows\n\nWorking hand in hand with applied AI engineers, growth strategists, forward deployed engineers and operators\n\nThe design quality bar and design system across every product surface\n\nWhat we are looking for\nYou live in San Francisco or will relocate, and you work from the office\n\nYou have led product design end to end at a product company, with a shipped portfolio to show for it\n\nYou have led and grown a design team, ideally by taking over an existing one\n\nYou have real experience designing AI or agent products\n\nYou can build a design first culture, not only run a design process\n\nStrong signals\nYou have made engineers, growth and operators better by sitting inside their work, not handing off to them\n\nYou have taken a design team through fast change without losing people or the bar\n\nYou have strong taste, and can explain it in plain words to a non designer\n\nNice to haves\nEarly stage or high growth company experience\n\nHands on craft in prototyping with code or AI tools\n\nWhat success looks like in year one\nThe design team is settled, stable and clear on direction\n\nRox is still a design first product company, and you can see it in what ships\n\nDesign is embedded with applied AI engineering, growth and forward deployed teams, with clear ways of working\n\nA hiring plan for the design team is in place and the first key hires are
