The Logistics Coordinator works as part of the Logistics team and is responsible for mobilization and demobilization for equipment or projects worldwide. They act as the interface between the project team (on and offshore), the vessel and our suppliers. They are responsible for all quayside activities and are required to manage the quayside in a safe and efficient manner at all times.\nYour responsibilities as Logistics Coordinator:\nThe main responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:\nTo provide Logistics support to any vessel in the BSS fleet.\nAct as conduit between onshore and offshore project team.\nResponsible for all quayside activities.\nBe the interface for Marine crew to ensure their requirements are captured for each port call.\nExecuting the shipment plan and keeping all parties updated of the status up to delivery. \nEffective management of costs associated with the port call/shipment.\nLocal collections and deliveries.\nProviding tendering with rates in relation to Logistics activities to support any tender submissions.\nPreparing the shipment plan of the designated goods, vessels and equipment for projects and sites.\nWe offer\nYou can make your mark as Logistics Coordinator if you have:\nPrevious relevant experience in the Oil and Gas industry for a wide range of goods and services, particularly within a subsea construction environment - minimum 3 years’ in a similar role.\nGood command of English (written and spoken).\nComprehensive skills in ICT Office applications and ERP system\nFull, clean UK Driving License and flexibility with working hours.\nDangerous Goods by Air, Road and Sea experience and certificates, Forklift License and CILT qualification (desirable).\nWhat you can expect\nA dynamic environment: A job that allows you to collaborate with a talented team of experts from different backgrounds and contribute to making a significant impact.\nRewarding conditions: Besides a competitive salary, you will receive a holiday entitlement of 34 days, a contributory pension scheme, private medical insurance and death in service benefit.
