You will be responsible for the delivery of monthly financial reporting and the coordination of budgeting and forecasting activities across the business.\nThe role takes ownership of the month-end reporting process, working closely with finance colleagues and the Finance Shared Service Centre (FSSC) to deliver accurate and high-quality financial information to management and Boskalis Group.\nThe position also supports the ongoing development of the finance function through process improvement, systems development and finance transformation initiatives\nYour responsibilities as a Management Reporting Controller:\nThe main responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to;\nTake ownership of the month-end reporting cycle including preparation of reporting deliverables.\nOversee the preparation of financial results and ensure reporting accuracy and completeness.\nPrepare monthly reporting packs, analysis and commentary for management and Boskalis Group.\nCoordinate the annual budget cycle and monthly forecasting process.\nConsolidate and analyze forecast submissions from stakeholders.\nSupport implementation and ongoing development of finance systems\nIdentify opportunities to standardize, simplify and automate finance processes, leveraging digital tools and AI to improve the efficiency, quality and effectiveness of finance processes.\nAct as a key finance contact for reporting, budgeting and forecasting matters.\nProvide support and guidance to finance colleagues.\nWe offer\nYou can make your mark as a Management and Reporting Controller if you have:\nA minimum of 5 years’ experience (in a similar role) working in an energy sector environment.\nEducated to University level (Accounting and/or Finance).\nIndustry professional Qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).\nStrong experience in financial reporting, forecasting and budgeting.\nExcellent analytical and variance analysis skills.\nAdvanced Excel capability in addition to experience using ERP and financial reporting/consolidation systems.\nStrong systems aptitude and ability to adapt to new technologies.\nExcellent stakeholder management and communication skills.\nExperience working with Shared Services environments (desirable).\nWorking knowledge of Power BI, automation tolls or AI-enabled finance applications (desirable).\nWhat you can expect\nA dynamic environment: A job that allows you to collaborate with a talented team of experts from different backgrounds and contribute to making a significant impact.\nRewarding conditions: Besides a competitive salary, you will be part of a contributory pension scheme, private medical insurance and death in service benefit.\nCareer development: We offer you plenty of opportunities to bring out the best in yourself for example through (online) courses at our Boskalis academy. \nOpportunities to connect with colleagues across the organization: Through networking and knowledge-sharing sessions, events, and employee communities.\nExtra information\nYour team: you will report to the Financial Controller.\nWhere you will work: You will work in our Aberdeen office.\nFull/part- time job: The position of Management Reporting Controller be full-time, 35 hours per week.\nNext steps: Apply easily by completing the online application form.
