This role involves the installation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of various instrumentation and control systems to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.\nJob Responsibilities**\n* Install, inspect, calibrate, maintain, and repair a wide range of industrial instrumentation, including transmitters, sensors, control valves, analyzers, and PLC/DCS systems.\n* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on instrumentation to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.\n* Troubleshoot complex instrumentation and control system failures, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions.\n* Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and instrument loop diagrams.\n* Utilize specialized testing equipment and calibration tools to verify instrument accuracy and functionality.\n* Document all maintenance activities, calibration records, and test results accurately and comprehensively.\n* Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards, particularly in hazardous environments.\n* Collaborate with operations, electrical, and mechanical teams to resolve interdisciplinary issues.\n* Participate in commissioning and start-up activities for new equipment and systems.\n* Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians or operators as needed.\nJob Qualifications**\n* Diploma or equivalent technical qualification in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.\n* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Instrument Technician, preferably within the GCC region and with exposure to Biomass or similar process industries.\n* Strong knowledge of various types of process instrumentation, including pressure, temperature, flow, level, and analytical instruments.\n* Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing PLC/DCS systems and their associated field devices.\n* Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for instrumentation and control systems.\n* Ability to read and interpret technical documentation accurately.\n* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\n* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.\n* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.\n* Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.\n* Willingness to work in various shift patterns and respond to emergency call-outs as required.\nDisclaimer:\nWhen you send us your resume and personal details, it is deemed you have provided your consent to us retaining your information in our talent recruitment database.
