This role ensures continuous steam generation to support plant operations while adhering to all safety and environmental regulations.\nJob Responsibilities:**\n* Operate, monitor, and control industrial boilers, including start-up, shut-down, and emergency procedures, to maintain optimal operating conditions and steam production.\n* Conduct routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs on boilers, pumps, valves, and other related equipment to ensure reliable performance.\n* Monitor boiler parameters such as pressure, temperature, water levels, and fuel flow using gauges, meters, and control systems.\n* Analyze water samples and perform chemical treatments as necessary to maintain proper water chemistry and prevent scaling or corrosion.\n* Troubleshoot operational issues and identify potential hazards, taking corrective actions promptly and safely.\n* Record operational data, maintenance activities, and incidents accurately in logbooks and computer systems.\n* Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and environmental regulations, including proper handling of hazardous materials.\n* Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to coordinate boiler-related activities and minimize downtime.\n* Participate in training programs and stay updated on best practices in boiler operation and safety.\nJob Qualifications:**\n* Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or diploma in boiler operation, power plant technology, or a related field is highly preferred.\n* Proven experience as a Boiler Operator in an industrial setting, preferably with high-pressure boilers.\n* Valid Boiler Operator license or certification as required by local regulations.\n* Strong understanding of boiler systems, controls, and associated auxiliary equipment.\n* Knowledge of water treatment principles and practices for boiler systems.\n* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and P&IDs.\n* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\n* Commitment to safety and environmental compliance.\n* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.\n* Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environmental conditions.\n* Basic computer proficiency for data entry and monitoring systems.\nDisclaimer:\nWhen you send us your resume and personal details, it is deemed you have provided your consent to us retaining your information in our talent recruitment database.
