  • Reviewing, consolidating and organizing electronic legal files into a consistent, business-area and subject-matter based structure;
  • Conducting inventories and retention, digitization and disposition reviews of historical legal and privacy records;
  • Establishing practical processes that make legal information easier to search, retrieve, maintain and share;
  • Supporting the preservation of institutional knowledge and ensuring important historical advice remains accessible and useful.

Privacy & FOIPPA Support

  • Supporting FOIPPA and privacy administration activities, including research, records management and process development;
  • Organizing and maintaining privacy-related document repositories and knowledge resources;
  • Reviewing and organizing historical Privacy Impact Assessment records and supporting appropriate digitization, retention and disposition;
  • Helping develop consistent practices for managing privacy information and documentation.

Policy & Governance

  • Developing and maintaining a corporate policy inventory and identifying opportunities to strengthen policy governance;
  • Supporting standardized processes for policy development, approval, storage and review;
  • Supporting the development, maintenance and organization of corporate, legal, governance, regulatory, privacy and compliance policies;
  • Helping ensure policies and related information are organized, current and accessible to the people who need them.

Modernization & Continuous Improvement

  • Supporting legal operations modernization initiatives, including records digitization, information governance and document management;
  • Preparing structured, searchable and well-governed information repositories to support future technology and AI-enabled solutions;
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce duplication and make information easier to access;
  • Supporting initiatives that improve the efficiency, consistency and service delivery of the Legal and Corporate Affairs teams.

What you bring to the team

  • Completed undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline
  • Strong academic achievement, with demonstrated analytical, research, organizational and written communication skills
  • Recent experience through co-op, internships, or employment in a professional or corporate environment
  • Experience researching, organizing and managing information and documents with accuracy and attention to detail
  • An interest in law, legal operations, records management, corporate governance, privacy, policy development or process improvement
  • Strong organizational, analytical and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with professionals across different functions and levels of an organization
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information
