We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. Seeking a Combat Systems/SPY-6/EASR test engineer to support the PMS 377 LPD program in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.\nResponsibilities\nProvides on-site combat systems engineering and technical support for SPY-6 and associated combat system interfaces.\nAssesses radar system installation and integration progress.\nConducts initial radar light-off activities, including power, connectivity, operability, reliability, and safety verification.\nConducts radar testing in direct support of the Government Test Team.\nValidates, monitors, and troubleshoots complex radar systems to identify electronic failures to continue testing of the equipment and return it to full operational capability.\nRequires understanding and operability networking/processing equipment, Cyber/Information Assurance compliance, and radar interfacing.\nSupport verifying shipbuilder compliance requirements for SPY-6 and associated combat systems and providing technical recommendations as needed to the Government.\nConducts ship checks, supports ship trials, and participates in combat system certification and readiness events.\nSupports system readiness evaluations and tracks deficiency identification and correction through trial cards, Contract Deficiency Reports (CDRs), and related documentation.\nReviews Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs) and related technical deliverables for accuracy and implementation against combat system test and integration requirements.\nProvides technical management support and design/configuration review for the \nQualifications\nRequires familiarity with test equipment such as, Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, and Phase Sequence Indicators.\nPrior experience with LPD Platform Auxiliary Test and Evaluation experience is a plus. \nACAT Level I and II LPD program experience of at least 5 plus years. \nNavy Class A/C school experience is preferred.\nSecret clearance. \nAbility to stand, walk, and perform repetitive bending, stretching, twisting, and reaching for extended periods (up to 8 hours) without undue fatigue.\nCapacity to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 40 pounds (or as specified by the employer) with or without assistance, and to move heavy materials and equipment safely.\nMuscular strength and endurance to support the body for long periods without fatigue, including using core and lower back muscles to maintain balance and posture\nEEO Statement\nR&P Technologies provides equal opportunity for all persons and prohibits discrimination in employment because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability (including pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions), veteran or marital status, or any other factor prohibited by law.
