Position Summary

We're looking for an L&D Program Manager who understands modern learning and can help associates learn in the flow of work, build real skills, solve problems, and perform with confidence. Do you see the big picture, know how to keep things moving, and like to challenge the way things have always been done? Then keep reading!

You'll help shape how we deliver high impact learning across thousands of frontline and corporate associates nationwide. You'll connect business needs to the right solutions, whether that's a new technology rollout, a maintenance skills program, a compliance requirement, a performance support tool, or something that doesn't look like traditional training at all.

The L&D Program Manager works collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure we are solving the right problems, not just fulfilling training requests. You're equal part strategic thinker, operational driver, systems problem solver, and curious challenger. You know that a course isn't always the answer, completion doesn't automatically equal capability, and great learning requires more than great content. You're energized by finding a smarter way to connect learning, knowledge, technology, and performance and to turn big ideas into scalable, measurable results that meet our audience needs.

Responsibilities

  • Think beyond the training request. Partner with business leaders and SMEs to understand the problem behind the ask and keep the focus on what associates need to know, do, and apply.
  • Turn business priorities into a learning game plan. Define and manage learning programs for associate roles, including compliance, safety, maintenance skills, technology, and business process changes. Connect the dots between business goals, learner needs, available resources, and the solutions most likely to make an impact.
  • Build skills beyond the course. Create structured maintenance learning and other role-based content and programs that connect formal learning with accessible, hands-on practice, coaching, knowledge resources, and on-the-job application.
  • Make the work move. Manage the end-to-end L&D project management process, from intake and prioritization through development and deployment. Apply agile principles, manage competing priorities, track milestones, and keep stakeholders aligned.
  • Leverage technology. Use industry leading tools, Generative AI and effective prompting to accelerate ideation, research, scripting, content creation, visual development, automation, and rapid prototyping.
  • Prototype, test, repeat. Experiment with new approaches, gather learner and stakeholder feedback, use data to understand what works, and continuously improve.
  • Power the learning ecosystem. Support RPM Living’s learning technology stack, including the LMS, WalkMe, LinkedIn Learning, and other enterprise tools. Help optimize configurations, content catalogs, governance, change management, and the overall learner experience.
  • Turn data into direction. Gather data, provide analysis and insights to track learning effectiveness, identify gaps, adjust strategies, and demonstrate business impact that drives ROI.
  • Challenge what’s next. Explore emerging learning technologies, AI, automation, and modern enablement strategies. Bring forward ideas that improve how we work, make learning more accessible, and help RPM move beyond traditional training delivery.
  • Travel: up to 10%

Education and Experience

  • This role requires a combination of project management and content design experience.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables. Experience with project management software and Agile methodology is preferred.
  • Experience creating digital learning experiences across multiple formats, including short-form video, microlearning, interactive learning, eLearning, simulations, performance support, or similar solutions.
  • Strong visual storytelling and the ability to turn complex information into simple, engaging, actionable experiences.
  • Demonstrated experience using Generative AI and prompting to accelerate creative and learning design workflows.
  • Strong instructional design and adult learning fundamentals.
  • Ability to rapidly learn and experiment with new tools and technologies.
  • Advanced Excel skills and the ability to produce learning-related reporting, analyze data, and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Experience with tools such as Articulate 360, Synthesia, video editing platforms, WalkMe, or similar technologies is a plus.
  • Experience supporting frontline or distributed workforces, technology implementations, or business process changes is a plus.
  • Ability to build collaborative partnerships in a virtual environment and work effectively with business leaders, subject matter experts, and technology teams.
  • Ability to think at scale and understand what it takes to implement change, drive adoption, and deliver consistent programming across locations and job roles.
