The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in electronic engineering, with an eye for detail and the ability to work effectively under pressure.\nResponsibilities:\nExecute instructions from the R&D Manager and Managing Director regarding experiments, tests, and simulations of electronic systems.\nConduct and analyze experiments and simulations using appropriate tools and equipment.\nPrepare comprehensive reports on activities and findings, using available data and resources.\nProvide regular updates to the R&D Manager on task progress.\nMaintain detailed and accessible records of all tests and experiments conducted.\nDesign and develop schematics and PCBs using DesignSparkPCB software as needed.\nCreate and maintain technical documents, including reports, studies, QA documentation, procedures, BOMs, master files, and construction files.\nSource and procure necessary components for ongoing and upcoming projects.\nEnsure proper storage of documentation on the company's internal network.\nRespond promptly to information requests and instructions communicated via email or phone from colleagues and management.\nDevelop and implement embedded code and computer software according to project requirements.\nDiagnose, debug, and interact with blast control systems in the field as required, based on training and expertise.\nCollaborate with team members to support R&D project execution.\nReview and evaluate PCB and schematic designs developed by team members for quality control.\nAssist in maintaining and improving the company's telecommunications and network infrastructure.\nIdentify and suggest process improvements across production, administration, and development areas.\nCoordinate and facilitate R&D team meetings as directed by the Managing Director.\nRequirements:\nB.ENG Electronic Degree.\nProficiency in PCB Design.\nExperience with embedded C firmware development.\nCompetence in using DesignSparkPCB software.\nAbility to develop embedded and computer code (e.g., Embedded C for Microchip PIC 12,16,18,32, Linux, node.js, React).\nFamiliarity with mechanical CAD packages for generating technical drawings.\nStrong ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.\nExcellent attention to detail.\nEffective technical writing skills.\nProven leadership skills with the capability to provide training when required.\nBenefits:\nCompetitive salary package, negotiable based on experience.\n\nContact RPO Recruitment for your next career opportunity.
