With 22,000 clients, including 93% of the Fortune 100, and 32,000 employees across 28 countries, RRD brings the expertise, execution, and scale designed to transform customer touchpoints into meaningful moments of impact.\n Assemblers/Kitters are responsible for the final packaging of products for RRD customers including but not limited to medical and food-grade components.\nRead and follow work order instructions\nFollow assembly processes and procedures precisely\nAchieve expected rate while assembling customer product accurately\nFold boxes and package customer product efficiently\nPerform all functions of pack out accurately\nCount accurately, watch scales for variances, and scan properly\nPlace labels precisely on product\nWatch for faulty, damaged, or nicked materials or packages to ensure the Quality Policy and Objectives are being met\nNotify lead when assembly/component inventory supplies are low\nCommunicate with co-workers in a positive, business-like manner\nComply with all facility safety and work rules; including, but not limited to security requirements, completion of a job costing card (white card), and following proper procedures for accident/incident reporting, emergency evacuation, etc.\nDemonstrate a professional manner.\nGeneral housekeeping duties\nParticipate in required trainings and audits\nOther tasks as assigned.\n This is a 1st shift position in a climate controlled, welcoming environment.\n High School Diploma or GED preferred\nPrior warehouse or kitting experience preferred\nMust have the ability to read and interpret job specifications and identifying the correct parts for fulfilling customer orders.\nBasic communication skills (written and/or verbal).\nBasic knowledge of routine packing procedures, techniques, equipment and general warehouse procedures.\nAble to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items in accordance with operating instructions or under guidance of a higher-level employee. \nAble to complete appropriate forms relating to stock description, quantity, unit of issue, and the labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materials.\nSkill in assembling standard shipping boxes and packing contents securely.\nBasic arithmetic to add, subtract, multiply and divide.\n Disclosure Statement:\nThe pay range for this role at the noted location is $16.40 to $17.68 per hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
