Whether it’s supporting law firms with critical document production or helping financial institutions manage high-volume print and digital communications, we’re the behind-the-scenes team making everything run smoothly.\n 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm\nThe Graphic Designer role develops creative and effective design solutions for customer materials. In this role, you will:\n*Conceptualize and produce online and offline collateral for marketing and sales, including original campaigns, direct mail, brochures, print and banner ads, product sheets, PowerPoint presentations and more.\n*Work closely with clients and/or project management teams to understand the client’s business needs.\n*Formulate forward-thinking concepts and render designs for multimedia campaigns while always elevating our client’s brand\n*Responsible for the design and production of a diverse range of graphic, print, and digital media collateral to support client needs.\n*Develop comprehensive multimedia campaigns.\nIdentify fresh and innovative design solutions that push the boundaries of the client brand and explore more effective formats and/or media channels.\n*Understand the restrictions and limitations of the designs deliverable process and manage client expectations (where appropriate) through providing education in relation to design limitation and/or restrictions\nResponsible for ensuring brand consistency while offering a fresh approach to design, artwork, digital and print output.\nProvide effective visual solutions by executing client creative requests and creative projects.\nEnsure that all work is visually appealing and created to specification\nEnsure that all work produced is to a suitably high standard and within brand guidelines and specifications.\nPerforms Quality Assurance on own and work of others.\nInteract with clients in person, over the phone or electronically.\nAdhere to company policies in addition to client site policies.\nUse equipment and supplies in a cost-efficient manner.\n Bachelor’s degree in Digital Arts/Graphic Design (or other related field) or equivalent years of experience\n2-4 years of relevant work experience in the graphic design industry\nExcellent design knowledge and application.\nExceptional visual trouble shooting skills.\nAbility to storyboard, comp visual ideas within the creative process.\nConceptual creative and production skills with a good understanding of layout principles, aesthetic design concepts and typography.\nExperience creating campaigns and extending the look and feel through various marketing materials.\nAble to complete tasks within tight schedules and under strict layout controls.\nStrong verbal communication skills; dependable, detail-oriented, and well organized.\nStrong presentation skills.\nProven skills in the latest Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office, including Power Point\nWeb design experience is a plus.\nExperience working in both in an agency and/or corporate environment preferred.\nMotivated, organized, and flexible.\nMust be able to meet deadlines and complete all projects in a timely manner.\nAbility to handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.\nAble to make independent decisions that conform to business needs and policy.\nGood problem-solving skills, with the ability and understanding of when to escalate a problem to a supervisory level.\nMust work well in a team environment.\nMust be able to interact effectively with multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment.\nMust be self-motivated with positive can-do attitude.\n The rate of pay for this role at the noted RRD location is $22.40 - $32.69/hour. Typically, roles follow step progressions to a target rate or set increments over time. Depending on the role, in addition to the hourly rate of pay, the total compensation package may also include overtime, shift differential, call-in, and/or stand-by pay.
