Global organizations and regulated industries trust RRD to reduce complexity and drive audience connections across the entire customer journey.\n RRD Iridio De Pere is a Packaging Prepress location, with services including: packaging production artwork, prepress, color management services and a range of proofing.\nCreate final production files using prepress applications (Adobe Creative Suite & Esko Tools)\n Import, trap, bleed, screen and color separate final production files •Generate and verify Barcodes\nCreate dielines and/or templates\nCreate stepping template and add printer specified press marks\nPerform color corrections to process color files for Flexo and/or Offset print processes\nMake alterations and revisions to existing production files, including light typesetting\nOperate Mac, production file server, proof output devices, RIPs and workflows\nGenerate hard copy proofs for customer review\nCreate 3D renders •Follow Standard Operating Procedures and general housekeeping requirements\nRecord Time and Materials accurately\nWork in a neat, orderly manner, maintain supply levels, and request repair of equipment as necessary\nMaintain equipment (general and minor maintenance)\nAbility to solve problems with minimal supervision\nRead and comprehend job instructions, short correspondence and emails\nParticipate in Pre-Production meetings with Sales, Account Manager, Leadership and other production staff\nEnsure jobs meet scheduling and quality requirements\nApply a broad knowledge of packaging prepress to production workflows\nMaintain contact with RRD Account Manager to advise them of job progress, scheduling concerns and requests for additional information or materials when required\nFacilitate the resolution of production-related problems in a timely manner and elevates appropriately when necessary\nUse ethical business practices in dealing with customers, employees, vendors, suppliers and the community \n Associate or Bachelor degree in discipline related to functional work or role with 3-5 years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience \nDemonstrated knowledge of packaging prepress and print specifications for Litho and Flexo print processes \nExperience working with different packaging substrate types for Litho and Flexo print processes \nExperience with software associated with packaging prepress (Adobe Creative Suite & Esko Tools) \nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to listen for understanding \nAbility to problem solve, analyze potential solutions and use good sound judgment to make decisions\n RRD's current salary range for this role is $46,600 to $68,000/ year. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
