The chosen candidate will be responsible for researching and building microservices using the best programming languages and frameworks to fulfil the requirements while keeping performance in mind.\nResponsibilities\nUnderstand business and technical requirements for new or existing projects\nAbility to design, develop and implement scalable, elastic microservice based platforms\nKeep oneself up to date with the latest technologies\nIncite and lead team discussions and brainstorming sessions as required\nMentor, guide, assist and share technical knowledge with team members as required\nTeam up in cross-functional teams working together to meet the defined objective/goal\nRequirements\nA University Degree in IT or related professional qualifications\nMinimum of 4 years work experience in Microservices development\nProficiency in Java/J2EE development and experience with working on multiple Java frameworks (especially Spring Boot) or have a good knowledge of the different frameworks available\nExperience with RDBMS databases (mostly Oracle SQL and PostgreSQL)\nExperience in a banking / financial services company would be ideal but not a must\nExperience with message brokers (especially Kafka)\nPlus points\nExperience with Oracle PL/SQL\nExperience with Cloud Platforms (ex.
