We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Connectivity Product Manager to manage the full lifecycle of RSAWEB’s existing Connectivity portfolio and to assist with the development of new and enhanced products and services. This person will report to the RSAWEB Manager for Product and Solutions.\nAs the Product Manager for the Connectivity portfolio for RSAWEB Business, you will work with the Manager of the Division to support the sales teams (SME, large business and enterprise business) and participate in supporting the execution, ensuring that it meets market, partner and customer needs, and drives business growth.\nDeliverables in the role:\n\nSupporting and executing the vision for the Connectivity product set from a wholesale and ISP perspective.\nWork closely with stakeholders for the connectivity product portfolio.\nSupport the sales teams in the sales and pricing process for the portfolio.\nHighlighting required product features and capabilities based on market demand from direct customers and channel partners.\nMonitoring the market and developing competitive analysis.\nUnderstanding and representing user needs.\nPricing models and margin setting is owned by the Manager of the Product and Solutions team, and you will work closely with that individual to align a wholesale approach as well as an RSAWEB Business solution and sales approach (think like the product supplier and the customer at product and pricing development level).\nAssist in defining the direction of the product through research, vision-setting, alignment, and prioritization, and work closely with the development team to execute against the goals defined.\nJob Responsibilities:\n\nThe position requires a hands-on approach and an ability to be able to work with technical and commercial teams.\nExperience managing relationships with external suppliers (vendor management in partnership with the Manager for Product and Solutions, Head of Engineering, Head of Business, and sometimes the CEO of both RSAWEB).\nThis role will require a trailblazer who thrives in ambiguity, pinpoints opportunities, and acts swiftly on them.\nWork in a cross-functional capacity in guiding products from start of the sales cycle to close by connecting the technical and customer needs together.\nMonitor and understand market conditions and technology developments, including global and local trends, competitive landscape, vendor development, research data, standards development, and its implications on the connectivity services portfolio.\nDemonstrated knowledge of technological and competitor developments.\nMonitor product performance monthly taking corrective action (e.g., advise on pricing review, promotional programs required, analysis of sales) where necessary.\nWork with service provisioning, engineering, and support teams to ensure that current and planned products in the Connectivity portfolio are delivered to market according to the agreed specification.\nCo-ordinate some aspects of product management, such as beta tests, training, service.\nDrive new product introductions through sourcing and / or new product concepts and development, managing existing products to ensure relevance, quality, market acceptability, financial performance, and completeness of offering.\nWork with the relevant stakeholders to develop, implement, and refine a go-to-market strategy for all connectivity product lines, from a wholesale and an ISP perspective.\nProviding support when participating in critical price negotiations.\nDevelop, grow, and manage connectivity products by identifying potential complimentary capabilities and technologies.\nRequirements\nCompleted grade 12 or equivalent.\nData analytics and advanced excel skills.\nHave a thorough understanding of fibre and wireless network products.\nKnowledge of Connectivity Products essential including some of the following:\n MPLS and SDWAN Technologies\n Last Mile carrier technologies\n Wi-Fi and mobile technologies\nComfortably interacts with product, solution, sales, and C-level stakeholders within RSAWEB.\nExcellent teamwork and communication skills.\nAbility to create a trusted environment for stakeholders to engage in.\nOwnership - able to take responsibility, troubleshoot problems and work with teams to get results.\nRuthless on customer service excellence.\nMust be proficient in both oral and written communication skills.\nAble to cultivate trust and credibility with peers and customers and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of RSAWEB.\nPositive attitude, self-motivated and managed.\nEnergetic and goal orientated.\nAttitude, experience, willingness to go the extra mile and proven experience in the ICT sector.
