This\nrole operates with high autonomy and requires someone who can design, build,\nmaintain, and scale internal tools and services with minimal day-to-day\noversight.\nYou will develop\nproduction-grade tooling (primarily in Go and Python), integrate internal\nsystems with third-party APIs, expose APIs for internal consumption, and ensure\nthe platforms we build are secure, observable, reliable, and high-performing.\nThis is a builder role: you will own the systems you create, drive improvements\nacross reliability and automation, and enable our network, cloud, and\nengineering teams to operate efficiently without compromising uptime,\nscalability, or security.\nKey Objectives:\n\nInfrastructure Ownership & Reliability\nOwn and operate core internalinfrastructure supporting ISP, cloud, and hosting platforms.\n\nMaintain, improve, and extendexisting internal systems with a strong reliability and observability focus.\n\nEnsure services are scalable, secure,highly available, and well-instrumented.\n\nTooling & Service Development\nDesign, build, and run internal toolsand services, primarily in Go and Python.\n\nIntegrate with third-party APIs usingREST/JSON and webhooks.\n\nDevelop and expose HTTP/JSON APIs forinternal systems.\n\nSelect, implement, and operateopen-source and self-hosted solutions where practical.\n\nAutomation & Standardisation\nLead automation initiatives to reducemanual effort (toil) and streamline infrastructure operations.\n\nDrive standardisation of tools,documentation, and operational processes.\n\nOperational Excellence\nEnsure strong monitoring, alerting,and observability across systems.\n\nParticipate in incident response,root-cause analysis, and performance troubleshooting.\n\nMaintain documentation such asrunbooks, architecture notes, and troubleshooting guides.\n\nCollaboration & Support\nWork closely with cloud, network, anddevelopment teams to provide stable internal platforms.\n\nSupport the ongoing operation ofservices you build, including participation in an on-call rotation for critical\ninfrastructure.\n\nRequirements\nStrongownership mindset with a focus on identifying and solving root-cause issues.\n\nSolidLinux system administration experience (Debian/Ubuntu preferred).\n\nExperiencein SRE, Infrastructure, Operations, or Platform Engineering roles.\n\nProductionexperience building and maintaining tooling/services in Go and/or Python.\n\nAbilityto integrate with third-party APIs and expose internal APIs.\n\nComfortableusing Git-based workflows, pull requests, and code reviews.\n\nUnderstandingof distributed systems and high-availability design principles.\n\nIntermediateknowledge of protocols such as DNS, NTP, HTTP, TLS, and TCP/IP.\n\nNice-to-Have Skills\n(Not required on day one -
