We are seeking an experienced Architect/Project Manager to join our Federal Architecture team in San Antonio, TX. You’ll contribute to projects across the U.S. and internationally, working alongside multidisciplinary teams from early planning and design through project delivery.\nOur portfolio includes work supporting the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC, U.S. Air Force, Air National Guard, and Department of Veterans Affairs, with projects ranging from renovations and facility improvements to large, multidisciplinary programs.\nThis role is ideal for an architect who enjoys staying hands-on with design and technical delivery while continuing to grow in project leadership, client relationships, and mentorship.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead and contribute to architectural design for federal and military projects\nDevelop design concepts, technical solutions, drawings, specifications, and construction documents\nSupport projects through planning, design, documentation, and construction\nCoordinate architectural work across multidisciplinary design teams\nCollaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders\nReview architectural work for technical accuracy, quality, and compliance\nApply knowledge of building codes, regulations, and federal project requirements\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and designers\nSolve complex design challenges with practical and innovative solutions\nSupport project and client management activities as appropriate\nWhat You’ll Need\nBachelor’s degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program or equivalent experience\n10+ years of relevant architectural experience\nCurrent Architect license in good standing\nDemonstrated architectural design and technical production experience\nExperience developing and delivering construction documents\nKnowledge of applicable building codes, zoning requirements, fire regulations, and related standards\nProficiency with architectural design and production software\nStrong communication and collaboration skills\nAbility to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams\nAbility to meet applicable federal client requirements\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience designing projects for federal, Department of Defense, or military clients\nExperience with multidisciplinary architecture and engineering projects\nProject management experience\nBIM experience\nLEED accreditation\nVisualization and graphics capabilities\nWhy Join Our Federal Team?\nYou’ll have the opportunity to work across a broad federal portfolio and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals on projects of varying size, scope, and complexity.
