This position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule, combining in-office collaboration with remote work.\nIn this role, you'll contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of roadway and highway projects for DOT, county, and municipal clients. You'll work alongside a collaborative team of engineers and technical professionals, supporting projects from concept development through construction while helping shape transportation infrastructure that connects communities.\nWhat You'll Do\nPerform roadway and highway design, engineering analysis, and plan production for transportation projects\nPrepare project specifications, reports, cost estimates, technical studies, and construction documents\nAnalyze and interpret engineering data to develop practical and innovative design solutions\nCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on schedule and within budget\nConduct quality control reviews and participate in field reviews and construction observations\nSupport project delivery by monitoring schedules, budgets, and task progress\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff and engineering support team members\nAssist with client development, proposal efforts, and business development initiatives\nWhat You'll Need\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or an equivalent combination of education and experience\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado preferred\nMinimum 5 years of roadway/highway engineering experience\nKnowledge of applicable federal, state, and local transportation design standards, regulations, and codes\nExperience of preparing construction documents and engineering plans\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative, practical solutions\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, contractors, stakeholders, and project team members\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Bentley OpenRoads Designer (ORD) and/or Autodesk Civil 3D and Bluebeam Revu\nExperience delivering projects for DOT, county, and municipal clients\nWhy RS&H?\nAt RS&H, you'll have the opportunity to work on meaningful transportation projects while collaborating with talented professionals who are passionate about improving communities.
