This is an embedded position reporting to the office 5 days per week.\nThis role is responsible for delivering hands-on and classroom instruction in commercial driving and construction trades, preparing trainees for successful careers in the infrastructure industry.\nResponsibilities:\nDeliver classroom and hands-on instruction in CDL Class A driving.\nTeach general transportation construction practices, heavy equipment operation, and jobsite safety protocols.\nDevelop and implement curriculum aligned with OSHA, industry standards, and workforce development goals.\nMonitor trainee progress, track certification hours, and provide individualized coaching and mentorship.\nPrepare trainees for CDL exams through instruction in vehicle systems, mechanics, and pre-trip inspections.\nSupport job placement efforts through coordination with program staff and industry partners.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in transportation, highway construction, or related field.\nValid CDL Class A License with a clean driving record.\nExperience delivering training or mentoring in a workforce development or technical education setting.\nStrong understanding of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.\nAbility to operate and instruct on heavy equipment and CDL vehicles.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nExperience with simulator-based training preferred.\n#DM#MFF #LI-BM1\nPlease note: no agency representation or submissions will be recognized for this vacancy.
