This position will have the ability to work a hybrid schedule of in-office and remote.\nThe successful candidate will have a proven track record performing diverse and complex work in the areas of traffic engineering and ITS. As a technical expert and self-starter you will have a key role in project work, while also cultivating relationships with existing and new clients. You will work to achieve our goals of a profitable operation and a supportive and inclusive work environment\nThe ideal candidate has traffic engineering experience including:\nITS Design\nTraffic Signal Design\nLighting Analysis & Design; photometrics and electrical\nSigning and Pavement Marking Design\nResponsibilities:\nServe as a leader delivering traffic engineering and ITS design services for FDOT and other clients in Florida.\nActively manage traffic engineering and ITS design tasks as part of a multi-disciplinary project team including schedule, scope, and budget.\nPrepare plan sets, calculations, reports, and specifications for transportation projects.\nParticipate in occasional field visits.\nAdminister quality management plans and perform thorough, detailed quality control reviews of project key milestones and deliverables.\nAssist in business development responsibilities, including client discovery, proposal generation, interviews, and win-to-work activities.\nMentor junior engineering associates.\nPerform other duties assigned within the traffic engineering design scope of practice.\nQualifications:\nABET accredited bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.\nPE License\nMinimum 5 years of engineering experience including proven technical leadership (decision-making on technical matters).\nExperience with FDOT standards, specifications and procedures.\nProficiency with Bentley Systems FDOT OpenRoads Designer, ProjectWise, GuideSIGN, Agi32, BlueBeam Revu, and Microsoft applications,\nPossess strong oral and written communication skills and can effectively interact and build strong relationships with team members, clients, and other key stakeholders.\nIf this sounds like the role for you and you're ready to join an amazing team, please apply.\nAn Equal Opportunity Employer.
