This role supports products, processes, and users, collaborates with business leaders and IT, and improves technology use by defining requirements and delivering insights.\nResponsibilities:\nUnderstand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. \nUnder general direction of Business Analyst Lead or other stakeholder to lead and direct analysis activities for high-priority pro jects requiring high degrees of functional integration. \nThe role includes supporting the product, processes, and users. \nWork with business leaders, system users, and IT to improve the use of technologies as a business enabler by defining detailed requirements for enhancements to the system, business process improvements, delivery of insights, and opportunities for improved operation. \nStrategic Business Analysis Planning & Execution.\nLead the team through analysis of the requirements creating finite written details of business requirements and design to the point the development lead indicates the story is ready for development to begin. \nParticipate in product road mapping. \nProvide strategic recommendations for current and upcoming product work \nAssist product owners and managers with backlog management. \nInfluence the prioritization of the product backlog according to business value. \nAgile Business Analysis Planning & Execution. \nLead requirements elicitation sessions. \nDocument user stories and acceptance criteria. \nDevelop supporting documentation when applicable including state flow diagrams, data mapping, etc. \nWork independently and with Product Designers to develop user interface design. \nParticipate in sprint planning processes and execute on the sprint plan presented by the development team. \nAccepts/rejects (sign-off) on the software sprint reviews. \nPlan, document, and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) scenarios against the system, functionality, and processes during product releases and patches. \nParticipate in go/no-go of the release plan. \nRepresent the voice of the customer, providing input on product recommendations on behalf of the business. \nWork with technical and QA teams to size and validate user stories. \nCenter of Excellence Support & Process Improvement. \nEnsure BA Center of Excellence Standards are being followed. \nPromote agile adoption and understanding. \nOffer team insights and process improvement ideas to center of excellence leaders. \nOther Duties as Assigned. \nProduct Support. \nExecute and complete assigned project tasks to provide quality plans, reports, and other assigned deliverables in a timely way during active projects. \nProvide quality assurance backup support. \nFacilitate, develop, schedule, and assist with meetings, presentations, and other communications specific to the deliverable and audience. \nSupport issue resolution by evaluating impacts of defects on the business, working with IT to develop plans for resolution. \nProvide process and product support individually and through collaboration with business and IT resources. \nSuggest ways to track product use and impact on end users. \nContribute to the build and delivery of quality and efficiencies into processes and project deliverables. \nManages small projects or assigned project work streams in larger projects. \nSupport the development of training and process materials. \nCollaborate with project team members to solve implementation issues and business problems. \nContribute to the build and delivery of change management plans.\n Required Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. \nProficient in MS Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio. \nAbility to analyze and document backend system information such as data mapping and microservice components. \nKnowledge of defect tracking processes and tools. \nAbility to work in a highly collaborative environment and consult effectively with employees at all levels. \nStrong knowledge of basic and advanced business analysis techniques and strategies. \nStrong knowledge of product design and user experience design concepts. \nStrong knowledge of the Agile Framework with a focus in Scrum, Scaled Agile, and Kanban methodologies. \nStrong organizational and multi-tasking ability. \nGood communication skills both written and spoken. \nAbility to prioritize across many projects and deadlines. \nStrong attention to detail, motivation, and initiative. \nMinimum of 5 years of business analysis experience working in a development environment. \nKnowledge of product management concepts and how enterprise software products are positioned and developed. \nExperience working with 3rd party and vendor relationships. \nExperience with both structured and object-oriented analysis techniques. \nProven experience in operational business process improvement. \nKnowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and other tools supporting fact-based decisions. \nExperience leading a team of resources for the coordinated delivery of large or complex projects.
