There’s no one like you and that’s why there’s nowhere like RSM.\nResponsibilities:\nPrimarily serve clients that require a review or compilation of their financial statements as well as clients that require an audit of their employee benefit plans.\nProvide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the review of all required financial statements, related disclosures and other client deliverables\nDevelop an understanding of the client's business, and become an industry specialist to understand client specific needs\nUnderstand and utilize RSM's audit, review and compilation methodologies\nFunction as in-charge facilitating client work by monitoring and reporting regarding productivity and adherence to work plan schedules on each assignment\nWork on multiple on-going engagements\nAnticipate and address client concerns and escalate issues as they arise\nInteract with clients to help ensure the information flow from the client to the engagement team is efficient\nIdentify and communicate accounting matters to Managers and Partners\nIdentify performance improvement opportunities\nRecognize and inform management of opportunities to increase level and types of services to clients\nEnsure professional development through ongoing education\nWork from a combination of office and home, with limited client site work.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's in commerce\nQualified Chartered Accountant / ACCA / CPA\nNon-qualified:3+ years of relevant experience\nCA qualified +1-yearrelevant experience, ACCA/CPA qualified + 2 years relevant experience\nStrong technical skills in accounting including IFRS or GAAP and GAAS\nStrong multi-tasking and project management skills\nExcellent verbal and written communication (English) as the position requires frequent communications with RSM International clients and the United States based engagement teams\nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrevious experience auditing/reviewing/compiling client financial statements\nDemonstrate experience and ability to act as in-charge on engagements\nExperience in Commercial Audit Industry\nAt RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for all our people.
