The Delivery Assurance team assists clients with project delivery. Successful project delivery requires adherence to proper project management techniques and assessing overall solution health. The Delivery Assurance team assists project teams with identifying potential delivery risks and defining mitigating strategies. The Delivery Assurance Manager will have a broad consulting and delivery background, along with the ability and desire to coach and mentor others.\nResponsibilities:\nProvide independent and objective project oversight\nAsk the right questions to recognize and guide early detection and response to project risks and issues to minimize project delivery problems\nConduct monthly project review meetings with Project Managers (PM’s) and Engagement Leaders and update the DA Dashboard\nGuide project teams and ensure the PM’s and Architects understand project status (including financials) and solution health and readiness\nConduct targeted project reviews as needed for complex and/or troubled programs and projects including meeting with the Client as required to gather their input and provide readouts on project status and solution health and readiness\nOffer knowledge and expertise to help teams develop and improve skills and apply best practices\nEnhance delivery performance to deliver improved results\nOffer advice and guidance to Project Teams, RSM Management and Client Teams\nBuild trust and collaboration\nFacilitate difficult conversation and management intervention\nDeal confidently with complex business and technical problems\nAnticipate problems and provide solutions for both the client and RSM teams\nReview SOW’s, weekly status reports and project execution metrics, project plans, key milestones, financials (i.e. Walk through Actuals, ETC, EAC, Variance), and assess project status using standard metrics\nAssist with architecting and building out processes and leveraging newer digital technologies to continually improve the DA function\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in management information systems, computer science or accounting\n7-10 of related work experience as a Program or Project Manager on complex engagements\nExperience leading at least one complex project, ideally 9+ months in length\nBroad IT expertise and/or business led digital transformation experience including working knowledge of financial and ERP systems, technology infrastructure trends, governance/management and internal controls\nStrong communication, presentation, project management, and business development skills\nStrong writing, research and analytical skills\nStrong self-motivation with the ability to work in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment with varying deliverables and changing requirements\nDemonstrate a strong sense of leadership\nDeal confidently with complex business and technical problems\nResults oriented, “hands on,” action oriented\nHighly respected leader of teams\nEncourage others to strive for continuous improvement\nAbility to confidently deal with complex business and technical problems\nRapidly establish credibility at all levels within RSM\nPossess the highest level or professional and personal honesty and integrity\nAt RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for all our people.
