There’s no one like you and that’s why there’s nowhere like RSM.\nJob description: -\n2-6 years of experience in Procure-to-Pay / Accounts Payable processes, preferably in a shared services or multinational environment.\nResponsibilities:\nThis is a hands-on position that requires transaction processing and account reconciliation skills. Duties include:\nHandle the end-to-end P2P process, including requisition creation, PO issuance, invoice verification, and payment processing.\nReview and validate vendor invoices for accuracy, proper approvals, and compliance with company policies.\nCoordinate with procurement, finance, and business teams to resolve discrepancies related to pricing, quantities, or PO/invoice mismatches.\nPerform vendor reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.\nMonitor GR/IR accounts, open POs, and aging reports to ensure process efficiency.\nSupport month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable and accruals.\nMaintain vendor master data and ensure periodic updates and compliance with internal controls.\nAssist in automation initiatives and process improvements within the P2P function.\nEnsure compliance with SOX, internal controls, and audit requirements.\nCollaborate with global teams and handle queries from internal stakeholders and vendors.\nQualifications\nA minimum of a Bachelor's in accounting or finance is required\nExcellent written and oral communication skills are a must (proactively communicates status, issues, conflicts, and priorities up, down and across the engagement team)\nAbility to balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously plus excellent analytical and decision-making skills\nExperience in a public accounting firm, consulting firm or other professional services environment preferred but not required\nProficiency utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).\nStrong organizational skills along with the ability to meet deadlines.\nAbility to adapt to change effectively\nExperience with automated accounting systems (i.e. Intacct, NetSuite, Bill.com, Tallie, SAP, Oracle, JDE)\nBlackline experience preferred\nKnowledge and understanding of GAAP\nShift timing\nShift timing would be 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM IST. During month end Close/transition period, the shift timing may require to be extended as needed.
