At RSM, our deep industry experience and focus, as well as our competitive advantage through our cutting edge technology and innovation, defines our commitment to quality, making RSM a First Choice Advisor to our clients serving the financial services, technology, life sciences, and manufacturing industries.\nResponsibilities:\nPrepare quarterly and annual financial statements, financial statement footnotes, quarterly accounting workpaper packages and investor reporting packages\nPrepare/facilitatethe day-to-day operating activities for private equity and real estate fund administration clients, including cash management, wire setup, management fees, carried interest/waterfall calculations, subsequent closes, credit facility maintenance, deal funding, and expense payments\nBecome an expert user in the firm’s fund administration technology platform\nAssist with onboarding new clients, setting up the firm’s investors, investments, new reports, LP reporting portal, etc.\nPrepare / facilitate capital calls and distribution calculations and execute these processes in the technology platform\nMaintain and update investor data as needed\nRespond to adhoc inquiries from clients and limited partners\nCoordinate with the clients’ external auditors and tax providers to assist with the year end audits and tax return information that is needed\nOnce established help to train other new/junior level staff members\nQualifications:\nRSM seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, intelligent and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavors.\n4+ years of relevant fund accounting or fund administration experience, preferably supporting private equity, real estate, or other alternative investment funds\nAbility to interpret/applying the financial and operational terms of Limited Partnership Agreements for private equity funds\nUndergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field\nCPA, CA, or progress toward a relevant professional certification preferred\nProficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced working knowledge of ExcelExperience with Allvue, Yardi, or a comparable fund administration platform preferred\nExperience with fund accounting software such as Allvue, Investran, eFront, Yardi, or similar platforms preferred\n\nStrong analytical skills, detail oriented and highly organized\nPossesses a strong work ethic, personal and professional integrity, and a positive attitude\nStrong oral and written communication and influencing skills\nAbility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects\nAt RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for all our people.
