There’s no one like you and that’s why there’s nowhere like RSM.\nAs a Human Resources Outsourcing (HRO) Supervisor at RSM, you will play a strategic leadership role in overseeing HR service delivery for multiple clients across diverse industries. You will lead a team of HR Consultants, ensuring high-quality HR support, compliance, and operational excellence for small and mid-sized businesses across the US. This role requires a balance of hands-on HR expertise specific to the US market, people management, process improvement, and strategic advisory capabilities to support clients in navigating complex HR challenges. Additionally, the HRO Supervisor will contribute to business development, HRIS implementations, and HR assessments.\nResponsibilities:\nClient & Team Leadership: Oversee a team of HR Consultants, ensuring the effective execution of HR operations, compliance, and advisory services for multiple clients.\n\nHR Advisory & Compliance: Provide strategic HR guidance on employee relations, performance management, legal compliance, and HR best practices.\n\nProcess Optimization & Scalability: Develop and standardize repeatable, scalable HR processes that improve efficiency and consistency across clients.\n\nMulti-Client HR Oversight: Manage HR service delivery across multiple clients or business units, ensuring tailored and compliant HR support.\n\nHRIS Implementation & Technology Management: Lead and support client side HRIS selection, implementation, and optimization (e.g., Rippling, UKG, ADP, Paychex, Paylocity).\n\nMergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Support: Assist with HR due diligence, risk assessment, and post-merger integration strategies.\n\nHR Assessments & Compliance Reviews: Conduct comprehensive HR compliance assessments, identify potential risks, and develop corrective action plans to ensure regulatory adherence and operational efficiency.\n\nBusiness Development & Practice Growth: Support proposals, client presentations, and service expansion initiatives as an HR subject matter expert.\n\nTalent Development & Team Coaching: Mentor and develop HR Consultants, ensuring continuous learning and professional growth.\n\nAmbiguity & Change Management: Lead teams and clients through organizational change, workforce transitions, and evolving business needs.\n\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.\n\n5-10+ years of HR experience supporting US based organizations\n\nExperience managing HR professionals (mentoring, coaching, performance management).\n\nMulti-client or multi-business unit experience (consulting, outsourcing, or large corporate HR roles with multiple stakeholders).\n\nExpertise in US based HR strategy, compliance, policy development, and process improvement.\n\nExperience advising on complex US HR matters (employee relations, performance management, legal compliance, investigations).\n\nProven ability to build, optimize, and scale HR processes.\n\nStrong project management skills (HR technology implementations, mergers/acquisitions, assessments).\n\nExperience with HRIS selection and implementation (Rippling, UKG, ADP, Paychex, Paylocity, etc.).\n\nAbility to manage ambiguity, lead through change, and navigate complex stakeholder needs.\n\nExcellent communication and relationship-building skills (internal teams, clients, leadership).\n\nTravel up to 25% may be required based on client and business needs.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nSHRM and/or HRCI certification\n\nExperience in HR outsourcing or HR consulting firms that support US based clients\n\nBenefits certifications or insurance licenses are a plus.\n\nExperience supporting multiple industries and consulting on HR best practices.\n\nFamiliarity with HR compliance assessments, M&A, and HR process automation.\n\nBusiness development support experience and/or willingness to learn (proposals, client meetings, service expansion).\n\nAt RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for all our people.
