In this role, you will lead small to medium-sized engagements across diverse industries, managing teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations. You’ll play a key role in developing team members, identifying new opportunities with clients, and contributing to the growth of our practice.\nThis is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality solutions and building strong client relationships.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the delivery of small to medium-sized engagements valued between $250K-$800K.\nDevelop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules while ensuring alignment with client goals and expectations.\nEstablish program governance structures to support effective decision-making and accountability.\nManage project scope in accordance with Statements of Work (SOW) and maintain a Change Request Log.\nMonitor progress, manage risks, and communicate project impacts to both clients and internal stakeholders.\nDirect and motivate project teams, fostering a positive and productive working environment.\nIdentify and resolve project issues, escalating when necessary to ensure timely resolution.\nCommunicate project expectations clearly and regularly to clients and consultants.\nCollaborate across RSM practice areas to deliver integrated solutions and uncover additional client opportunities.\nProvide mentoring and on-the-job coaching to team members, promoting professional growth and inclusion.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal engagement teams.\nSupport business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and contributing to proposal development.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelors degree\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in project management or business process improvement\nStrong understanding of project and program management methodologies\nProven experience managing transformation engagements (e.g., ERP, Business Intelligence)\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and with clients\nSelf-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities\nProficiency in project management tools such as Smartsheet, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Visio\nStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with sound judgment\nAbility to travel up to 50%.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPMP or SCRUM certification\nExperience with ERP implementations (e.g., Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Oracle)\nExposure to business capability benchmarking, blueprinting, and roadmap development\nExperience with business case development and management\nIndustry expertise in healthcare (Medicare/Medicaid) or public sector transformation initiatives\nFamiliarity with regulatory compliance, operational modernization, and system integration \nAt RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for all our people.
