As a Technology Advisory Senior Associate at RSM, you will work with businesses in diverse industries and receive hands-on client experience with direct access to executive management. You will also work in a mutually respectful team environment which will help you perform at your best and advance your career and professional capabilities\nResponsibilities\nHelp clients with their digital transformation journeys including digital strategy development ,digital assessments, roadmap development and advising on emerging technologies\nAdvising CIOs on optimizing IT departments and IT capabilities within client organizations\nServe as a liaison between stakeholders and users\nPerform technology assessments and software selections\nEvaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions\nPrioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements\nUpdate, implement and maintain procedures\nWork closely with clients and subject matter experts\nParticipate in projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance\nProvide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff\nGather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce applicable reports\nNetwork internally and externally to develop sales opportunities\nProvide analysis, development and documentation of improvement opportunities\nFacilitate user workshops to gather and document business needs, requirements, weaknesses and challenges\nContinuously learn to better understand RSM's scope of services, with the intent to enhance value to the client through integration of services\nAspire to career growth by assuming more active roles in technology assessments over time, as knowledge and experience progress\nStay up to date on the latest process and digital/IT advancements to automate and modernize systems and regulations\nEffectively document and communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management\nPerform user acceptance testing\nBasic Qualifications\n3-5 years’ experience in management consulting, business analyst, digital transformation and/or software management roles, preferably working in a platform agnostic environment\nKnowledge of ERP, CRM, CPM and/or other enterprise platforms\nPrevious consulting experience, advising on digital adoption automation and efficiencies\nPrevious experience with implementing technologies and migrating clients to SaaS/cloud environments.\nKnowledge of enterprise architecture concepts across all domains\nBasic understanding of IT application lifecycle, general IT controls and methods\nExperience in developing Target Operating Models for clients\nStrong communication skills and executive presence\nHighly self-motivated\nCritical thinking and creative problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to apply theoretical concepts and best practices to solve business problems\nExcellent planning, organizational, and time management skills\nAbility and willingness to travel up to 50% throughout North America\nExperience creating detailed reports and giving presentations\nAbility to anticipate and address client concerns and issues\nDemonstrated work ethic and ability to work effectively with people at all levels\nAbility to break complex issues into project steps and problem solve\nBachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) or Business Information Systems (BIS)\nStrong experience with various software solutions including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, and Smartsheet\nStrong data manipulation skills utilizing Excel• Database knowledge (Microsoft SQL, and/or Access)\nPrevious experience with operational process reviews and basic internal control requirements\nPreferred Qualifications\nCertifications such as COBIT, ITIL, PMP, TOGAF\nExperience in PE and/or M&A transactions\nExposure to a key industry such as Industrials, Consumer Products, Public Sector, NonProfit, Life Sciences, Financial Services, Private Equity, Business and Professional Services, Telemedia and Technology\nAt RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for all our people.
