Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nOur Powers & Controls team is looking for a Quality Inspector to preform inline inspection of repaired electronic components, and associated paperwork. The position requires a keen focus on physically inspecting aircraft components and reviewing paperwork to ensure that workmanship standards, quality requirements, customer requirements are satisfied, and components are returned to service in an airworthy condition with all required documentation accurately completed. The secondary responsibility will be to complete final inspections.\nExternal candidates will receive a sign-on bonus of $3,000\nWhat You Will Do\nInspect rework and assembly performed by others, and solder electronic components per IPC-A-610 and J-STD. \nArticulate and understand written instructions from customer flow down, such as purchase orders and customer technical documentation.\nRead and interpret technical data such as component maintenance manuals (CMMs), assembly/work instructions, and engineering prints.\nGenerating Authorized Release Certificates (ARC) for multiple regulatory civil aviation authorities or Certificates of Conformance for military customers.\nEnsuring no defects in assembly, soldering, bonding, or finish.\nPerforming unit shakedown to check for foreign objects and loose internal hardware.\nMarking defects and removing rejects, setting them aside for repair.\nReading and interpreting technical data such as service bulletins, component maintenance manuals, or engineering prints.\nEnsuring appropriate record keeping.\nReviewing work order documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring adherence to specifications and conformance to company standards and customers’ requirements.\nEffectively interacting with team members and support staff as well as external customers when applicable (source inspection, external approvals, etc.)\nIssuing scrap certificates.\nComply with ESD and FOD programs.\nProvide constructive feedback to teammates when corrections are needed.\nWork with minimal oversight and in a multi-discipline team environment, providing insight and solutions to complicated issues both technical and procedural.\n2nd Shift: Monday - Friday, 3:30 - 12:00 am\nTraining could take place on 1st Shift or 2nd Shift depending on need: if 1st Shift, Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm for up to 60 days\nWorking Environment\nYou may occasionally need to provide weekend and holiday support to meet customer needs.\nIn your role, you will be exposed to:Products of various weights and sizes.\nEquipment with moving parts.\nChemicals that may emit fumes.\n\nTo minimize safety risk to you and product, you must wear static-control and personal protective equipment.\nPhysical Demands\nDue to the nature of our work, you will need to be able to perform the following functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.\nDistinguishing colors and meeting vision requirements.\nBending, stooping, reaching, turning as needed to place units in test stands, pick up totes, place units on rack, etc.\nUsing hands for extended periods of time to perform testing and troubleshooting tasks (e.g. grasping, holding, picking, placing, twisting, fine manipulation).\nMust be able to work in a standing position up to 8 hours per day.\nMust be able to lift up to 40 lbs.\nTransporting product with or without product carts.\nQualifications You Must Have\nHS diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
