Operates as a main point of contact for OJT training and auditing process as well as mentors new and current employees. Collaborates with support staff to achieve On Time Delivery, Inventory, Cost of Poor Quality, Efficiency, and company goals.\nWhat You Will Do:\nInterprets blueprints, work orders, engineering plans, specifications, reference planes, designs sketches and geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) for operation, material, and dimensional requirements.\nAssembles, repairs, and fabricates metal parts into sub-units or complete units using operating mechanical equipment.\nTakes measurements of material and selects appropriate machines for the process.\nPerforms machining setups and makes adjustments as required.\nConducts inspections of work produced.\nChecks SPC charts for frequency of checks, gauging and measurements.\nKeeps records and maintains quality/safety standards.\nExhibits RTX Leadership Behaviors and Values.\nSupports and follows all rules/guidelines/standards set by EHS, Quality and CI functions as set by assigned leader and position.\nPerform other duties as assigned including working extended shifts/overtime as required by the business.\nThe schedule for this position is 2nd shift Monday through Friday 3:30pm - 12:00am .
