Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.\nWhat You Will Do:\nJoin Pratt & Whitney as an A&P Technician supporting PW800 Flight Line operations for a key external customer. In this hands-on role, you will provide critical engine maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and return-to-service support across both flight test and production environments. Working directly with the customer and alongside Pratt & Whitney technical teams, you will help ensure PW800 engines are maintained, repaired, inspected, and returned to service safely and efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced A&P Technician with turbine-engine experience who enjoys a dynamic, customer-focused environment and field-based problem solving.\nThis role will work primarily on our weekend shift schedule, which is Friday-Sunday from 7am-7pm. Training will be conducted during our day shift schedule for up to 6 months prior to transitioning to the weekend shift. Overtime hours, off shift coverage, and occasional travel may be required to support the team.\nKey Responsibilities:\nPerform detailed inspections and evaluations of turbine engine parts and components.\nConduct engine refurbishment, maintenance, and return-to-service activities.\nSupport mobile repair team operations, including troubleshooting and diagnostics.\nProvide on-wing and off-wing engine support in both hangar and field environments.\nSupport flight test and production activities by providing timely technical and maintenance support.\nInterface directly with customers to understand requirements, resolve technical issues, and provide responsive field support.\nTroubleshoot and diagnose engine issues.\nMaintain accurate maintenance and inspection documentation in accordance with applicable procedures and requirements.\nFollow all applicable safety, quality, regulatory, and maintenance procedures.\nAdhere to department shift schedules, including weekday and weekend work as required.\nQualifications You Must Have:\nAA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) and a minimum of 6 years of relevant A&P experience\nValid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license\nQualifications We Prefer:\nPrevious experience maintaining or troubleshooting turbine engines\nExperience supporting flight test and/or production operations\nPrevious experience with engine inspections, component evaluation, refurbishment, troubleshooting, repairs, and return to service activities\nExperience working directly with customers in a field service or technical support environment.\nPlease ensure the role type defined below is appropriate for your needs before applying to this role. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
